Leo Hefner became a real estate agent in 2011 and then a mortgage loan officer in 2013 and at the same time became interested in private lending. In 2015, Leo and his partner Geoff, founded South Bend 7, a private equity real estate fund. The goal was to find great deals on cash-flowing properties, pay cash for them using no leverage, and create residual income.
